“I got a trainer and I’ve been training with him for about a month now,” Polizzi said in January. “I think my New Year’s resolution is definitely to keep up with the training.”Snooki suffered from anorexia in high school and dropped to 80 pounds, by consuming only salads. She has since recovered from the eating disorder, but her weight has fluctuated thanks to her love of junk food and high-calorie alcoholic drinks.

The news of her dramatic weight loss was publicized first on Snooki’s Facebook account, where she uploaded her new photo shoot. Long legged, lean and fierce and best of all she has not lost her famous curves. Polizzi looks good, and her indication that she’s losing weight in a healthy manner is encouraging (especially since she struggled with an eating disorder in the past). She has also shunned her alcoholic routine and stated that water is her new best friend.

Her tweets show that how positive and serious she is about her dieting. “[I have] egg whites in the morning and chicken and salads,” she said.”

But the recent update which we received through Snooki’s tweets is probably the main magical ingredient that ensured her weight loss. Snooki tweeted on May 27 that she slimmed down with the help of the Zantrex weight loss supplement. For now, Polizzi and her crew are gearing up to film Season 4 of Jersey Shore in Italy later this year. While she’s animated about the trip, Snooki says she’s terrified she’ll regain the weight in Italy because she’ll indulge her love for pasta and other rich foods. However, the mayor of Florence has issued a list of rules to the cast for them to abide by, while filming.
